This is the main screen for the online store.
There are several links available
to the
user. From the top down, the
first two options
allow you to View/Modify your shopping basket and then second Proceed to checkout will allow you to actually place an order
via email. The shop keeper will
also be notified
by mobile phone text message
that an order
has been placed and email order
exists.
Following these two options are
the list
of departments or categories
within the store.
Simply click on any category
to display the
items available. The item display
screen
will be coverd below as will
the shopping
basket and order window. |

There are 5 option available on the bottom
of this screen. They are listed
below with
a brief description explaining
their purpose.
Special Offer: List any special offer currently available
within the store.
Whats New: Inform the user of any new developments
withing the store or new stock
About: A little bit about the company
Help Me: This Page
Contact Details: Where and how to contact the company

This is the window that is displayed when
the user clicks one of
the list of categories
or departments available.
From this screen
you can view detailed information
on any
item. You can then add
items to your shopping
basket, modify quantities
ordered using the
view/Modify option and then place an order using the
Store checkout option |

When the user clicks on the view button beside
an item in the category
list, the following
screen is displayed.
This screen will display
a picture of the
item you are interested
in. It will also
display a brief description,
a full description
of the item and the item
price.
There are two fields available
for user entry:
Quantity: Enter the item quantity you require.
Buyer Description: This is where you can enter additional
details such as color,
size etc..
You can then press the
Add to shopping basket button to add this item to your current
basket or press Close Window to return to the calling window. |

| The image below is a screenshot of the View/Modify Basket window. From this screen the user can view
the items currently is
his/her shopping basket.
You can modify the quantities,
modify the
buyer description details
or by clicking
the Remove checkbox you
can remove items
accidentally added to the
basket. You must
click the Save Changes button to implement changes or click the
Close window without saving button to return to the shopfront. |

The next image is a screen shot of the Checkout window. This window basically displays a
list of the item you are
about to order online.
It will also display the
total cost of the
order.
You can enter your contact
details in the
text box available, These
details can be
an email, phone number
or address. The checkout
system will simply send
an emailed order
to the shopkeeper along
with an SMS text
message to his/her mobile
phone to inform
them immediately that they
have an online
order. Th shopkeeper will
use the contact
detail entered here to
get in touch with
you to discuss payment
arrangements. Click
the Submit this order to send the email. |
